Dutch-Turkish producer and DJ based in Berlin, specialist in hypnotic percussion, polyrhythms and atmospheres that breathe between the abstract and the club.
Konduku (Ruben Üvez) is a producer and DJ with Dutch-Turkish roots, known for a sonic language where rhythm rules: broken grooves, layers of texture and a very physical way of building tension without resorting to easy hits. His music moves naturally between ambient, broken beat and lucid techno, with a particular taste for rhythmic complexity and spatial depth.
His debut album, Kıran, released by Nous'klaer Audio, also functions as a connection with his heritage and with the idea of place, something reflected in his detailed approach to production. Additionally, he has released music on reference labels of the more advanced spectrum, such as Delsin (Mantis series) or Spazio Disponibile, among others.
As a DJ, his narrative is enveloping and patient; he has been linked to the Amsterdam scene with a residency at De School and today he transfers that same precision to European dance floors from his base in Berlin.
